Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke with United Kingdom's Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Sir Nicholas Carter yesterday by phone.
The two military leaders discussed the latest developments in the global security environment and ongoing counterterrorism efforts.
The United Kingdom and United States share a long history of mutual support and cooperation, which are cornerstones of the strong alliance and special relationship between the two nations.
