TALLINN, Estonia — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Estonia’s Chief of Defence Lt. Gen. Martin Herem today during a visit to Ämari Air Base near Tallinn, Estonia.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and NATO’s response. Estonia hosts U.S. rotational forces and is an important contributor to international security efforts in the Baltic region and globally.
