WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Gen. Konstantinos Floros today at the Pentagon.
The military leaders discussed mutual items of interest, including Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and the security environment in eastern Europe.
As NATO allies, the United States and Greece enjoy a long-standing friendship and partnership rooted in shared democratic values and strong cultural ties.
