WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, speaks with members of the media after a Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies Strategic Deterrence Breakfast Series at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C., Aug. 3, 2017. Gen. Selva provided an update on the nuclear posture and ballistic missile defense reviews currently underway; stating the Joint Staff and its partners are reviewing all possibilities, from conservative strategic approaches to radical new approaches to provide the President with the best options to ensure U.S. strategic deterrence.
