Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine met with the Ambassador of India to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, today at the Pentagon.
Gen. Caine and Ambassador Kwatra discussed shared perspectives on regional and global security issues, as well as ongoing defense and strategic cooperation between the United States and India. They reaffirmed the strength of the U.S.–India defense partnership and the importance of continued collaboration in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
The United States and India share a close and growing relationship grounded in common strategic interests and a shared commitment to regional stability and prosperity.
