Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine met with Japan’s Chief of Staff, Joint Staff General UCHIKURA Hiroaki, today at the Pentagon. This meeting builds on ongoing discussions between U.S. and Japan defense leaders and underscores the leaders’ shared commitment to upholding a free and open Indo-Pacific.
