Military Spouse of the Year Lauded for Devotion to Gold Star Families

WASHINGTON — Her soldier husband was killed in Afghanistan in 2013, but she later remarried a Green Beret, and now Krista Simpson Anderson has received the Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year award at the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore Annual Awards Gala.
