WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:     

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Swedish Supreme Commander Gen. Micael Bydén today at the Pentagon.

The two military leaders discussed shared security concerns and ways to increase cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

The U.S. and Sweden share a strong defense relationship, and Sweden is a critical partner in regional stability.
