WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke with Estonia’s Chief of Defence Lt. Gen. Martin Herem today by telephone.
The leaders discussed a range of issues, including security environment in the Baltic region and eastern Europe.
Estonia is a leader in NATO defense and deterrence activities in the Baltic Sea region and Eastern Europe.
