WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Lt. Col. Korry Leverett provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Christopher W. Grady participated in a virtual meeting with German Vice Chief of Defense, Lt. Gen. Markus Laubenthal today at the Pentagon.
The two military leaders discussed items of mutual interest and shared assessments regarding the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As a key NATO ally, Germany plays host to nearly 45,000 U.S. military forces and their families and shares a strong partnership with the U.S. around the globe.
