Statement by Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Beth Teach on Adm. Grady testing positive for COVID-19

WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Beth Teach provided the following statement:

Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady is working remotely and isolating from contact with others after a positive COVID-19 test yesterday. He is asymptomatic and is performing his primary duties from home. He continues to adhere to all Centers for Disease Control guidelines and protocols. He has received the COVID-19 vaccine and two boosters.
