WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Robert Glavaš yesterday at the Pentagon.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and the security environment in eastern Europe.
Slovenia is a strong NATO ally and close partner that plays a key role in the stability of the region.
