WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke to the German Inspector General of the Armed Forces Gen. Carsten Breuer today by phone.
The military leaders discussed the conflict in Sudan and shared assessments of the security environment.
Germany is a key NATO ally and a critical partner in maintaining peace and stability around the globe.
