WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with the Canadian Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Jennie Carignan, 20 March, at the Pentagon.
During their meeting, Adm. Grady and Gen. Carignan discussed several items of mutual focus between the U.S. and Canada to include military modernization, homeland defense, and the Arctic region.
The U.S. and Canada are strong military partners and share a special relationship rooted in longstanding mutual support and cooperation.
