WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Sarah Flaherty provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Minister of Defense Benny Gantz, and Chief of the Israeli General Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi this week in Tel Aviv during a visit to the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
The leaders discussed the current security environment throughout the Middle East.
The U.S. and Israel enjoy a strong military-to-military relationship as key partners committed to peace and security in the Middle East region.
