WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Belgium Chief of Defence Adm. Michel Hofman today in the Pentagon.

The two military leaders discussed issues of mutual concern including the current security environment.

Belgium is a key NATO ally and shares a strong partnership with the U.S. around the globe.
