WASHINGTON -- Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke today with Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer by telephone.
The military leaders discussed NATO’s ongoing operations, training missions, and ways to build stability and strengthen partnerships across the region as well as future Alliance military adaptation. These efforts will enable NATO partners to meet current and future challenges.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to readiness and to continued operations to demonstrate the world’s strongest alliance remains ready and vigilant.
