WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Gen. Mark A. Milley thanked by phone the following chiefs of defense for support during the Afghanistan noncombatant evacuation operation:
• NATO
• Qatar
• Germany
• Kuwait
• Norway
• Bahrain
• United Kingdom
• Spain
• Italy
• Turkey
The Chairman also reiterated the importance of partnerships in the completion of the operation and the need to sustain coordination.
