WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Austrian Chief of Defense Staff Gen. Robert Brieger today in the Pentagon.
The two military leaders discussed a range of issues, including the shared challenges faced in Europe and ways to increase coordination in areas of mutual interest.
The U.S. and Austria enjoy a strong friendship and mutually supportive bilateral military-to-military relationship.
