Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke with Brazil’s Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces Admiral Renato Rodrigues de Aguiar Freire today by phone.
The military leaders discussed mutual strategic security interests, military cooperation and the regional security environment.
The U.S. continues to closely partner with Brazil and remains committed to maintaining a relationship founded upon shared strategic interests and democratic values.
