WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke today via phone to German Inspector General of the Armed Forces Gen. Carsten Breuer.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and shared assessments of the regional security environment.
Germany is a key NATO ally and critical partner in maintaining peace and stability around the globe.
