Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley hosted a bilateral meeting at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Headquarters, Camp Smith, Hawaii with Japan Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Gen. Koji Yamazaki today.
This session featured discussions on the regional security challenges and the steadfast commitment of the U.S. to defend Japan.
The two leaders reinforced the U.S.-Japan alliance remains the cornerstone of peace, security, and stability in the region facilitating a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
