WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., spoke with United Kingdom’s Chief of the Defence Staff Adm. Sir Tony Radakin today by phone.
The leaders discussed the current security situation in the Middle East, the unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine, and continued military collaboration between the United Kingdom, United States and European allies and partners.
The United States and United Kingdom share a strong alliance and special relationship rooted in a long history of mutual support and cooperation.
