WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., spoke with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi today by phone.
Gen. Brown and Gen. Syrskyi discussed the latest battlefield developments and current security assistance efforts in advance of this week’s Ukraine Defense Contact Group conference. Additionally, the military leaders shared perspectives on how allies and partners can best support Ukraine’s plan to achieve victory.
The U.S. will continue to support Ukraine with training and equipment for as long as it takes, so Ukraine can continue to defend itself from Russia’s invasion.
