An Enlisted Military Education Review Council (EMERC) Working Group was held 7-8 March 2023 at the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) on MacDill AFB, FL. The Services focused on the Director of Joint Force Development (DJ-7) Letter of Intent to operationalize the Joint Warfighting Concept (JWC). The Services received classified briefings on the JWC, provided updates to PME/Joint PME programs, and received updates from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Special Areas of Emphasis, Global Force Management, Data/Analytics/Artificial Intelligence, and Strategic Deterrence. Finally, the theme for 2023 EMERC was announced: Educating the Force - Integrate and Operationalize the Joint Warfighting Concept. The EMERC Principals will provide updates on their PME institutions progress of implementation the JWC during the Fall 2023 EMERC.
