WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met today with France’s Deputy Chief of the Defense Staff Gen. Éric Autellet, Germany’s Chief of Defense Eberhard Zorn, Italy’s Chief of Defense Adm. Giuseppe Cavo Dragone and the United Kingdom’s Chief of Defense Adm. Sir Tony Radakin.
The group met during the Military Committee in Chiefs of Defense Session at NATO Headquarters. They discussed the posture implications of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and the security environment in Eastern Europe. Additionally, the Chairman commended the leaders for their continued commitment to Ukraine.
