WASHINGTON-- Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Patrick S. Ryder provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. spoke with Chairman of the Republic of Korea Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Jeong Kyeongdoo by telephone Thursday.
The two leaders discussed the current security environment around the Korean Peninsula following the Singapore summit. They committed to continuing close cooperation as allies.
