WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Patrick S. Ryder provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke today with Chief of the Israeli General Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi.
During the introductory call, the two leaders discussed several issues of mutual concern. Gen. Milley reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to its relationship with Israel.
The U.S. and Israel enjoy a strong military-to-military relationship as key partners committed to peace and security in the Middle East region.
