WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. DeDe S. Halfhill provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley met with Ukraine Chief of the General Staff Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak today in Brussels, Belgium.
The senior leaders discussed the current security environment in Europe.
Ukraine is a key partner to NATO and plays a critical role in maintaining peace and stability in Europe.
Gen. Milley was in Brussels to participate in the NATO Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence Session, held Jan. 14-15 at NATO Headquarters.
