WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. DeDe S. Halfhill provided the following readout:               

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with commander of the Finnish Defense Forces Gen. Timo Kivinen today at the Pentagon.

The two senior leaders discussed items of mutual security interest as well as ways to continue to improve military cooperation and collaboration.

The U.S. and Finland continue to share a strong partnership.
