WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Maj. Trisha Guillebeau provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. John E. Hyten met with Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces Lt. Gen. Ferenc Korom today at the Pentagon.
Gen. Hyten thanked Lt. Gen. Korom for his nation's contributions to the Resolute Support mission and Operation Inherent Resolve. The two leaders also discussed several issues of shared concern including opportunities for increased cooperation, readiness, and modernization efforts.
The U.S. and Hungary continue to share a strong defense relationship and cooperate on a wide range of programs.
