WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. DeDe S. Halfhill provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke with Chief of the Spanish General Staff Gen. Miguel Villarroya today by telephone.
The two leaders discussed the current security environment and U.S. force posture in Spain.
Spain is a vital NATO ally and shares a long-standing and strategic relationship with the United States.
