WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. DeDe S. Halfhill provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud and Saudi Arabia Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili this week in Riyadh during a trip to the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
The leaders discussed the current security environment throughout the Middle East.
The U.S. and Saudi Arabia share a long-standing partnership and are committed to peace and security in the Middle East region.
