WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke yesterday with Canadian Armed Forces Chief of Defence Gen. Jonathan Vance by telephone.
The two leaders discussed areas of mutual concern including global operations.
The U.S.-Canada bilateral defense relationship is one of the world's strongest and both leaders remain committed to continuing cooperation and addressing the challenges facing our regional and global partners.
