WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Sarah Flaherty provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Saudi Arabia Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwayli this week in Riyadh during a trip to the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
The leaders discussed the current security environment throughout the Middle East.
The U.S. and Saudi Arabia share a long-standing partnership and are committed to peace and security in the Middle East region.
