WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Col. Gen. Ruslan Khomchak today in Brussels, Belgium.
The two leaders met while attending the Military Committee in Chiefs of Defense Session at NATO Headquarters. They discussed the current security environment in eastern Europe.
Ukraine is a key partner to NATO and plays a critical role in maintaining peace and stability in Europe.
