WASHINGTON – Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Today the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley conducted a 2-day virtual NATO Military Committee Chiefs of Defence Conference with 29 NATO Allies.
Gen. Milley and his fellow NATO CHODs had a frank and open exchange on the situation in and around Ukraine and the implications for Trans-Atlantic Security.
The United States and its Allies remain united in their commitment to maintaining a credible deterrent capability and willingness to defend Alliance territory.
