WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley participated in a virtual meeting today with NATO Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is undermining global security.
The United States stands united with our Allies and partners to support Ukraine and to deter aggression against NATO. The United States’ commitment to defending NATO territory is ironclad and the United States will continue to bolster our posture to better defend our NATO Allies.
