WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Lt. Col. Korry Leverett provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with the Colombian Chief of Defense Gen. Luis Navarro today in the Pentagon.
The military leaders discussed the importance of aligning priorities and capabilities. The Vice Chairman stressed the commitment by the U.S. for Colombia's domestic security efforts and the continued fight against terrorist and criminal organizations.
Colombia remains one of our strongest and most capable partners in the region and its military serves as a leader throughout Latin America.
