WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Lt. Col. Korry Leverett provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with the Kuwaiti Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah today in the Pentagon.
The two leaders discussed several issues of mutual concern in the Middle East and globally, and Adm. Grady affirmed the U.S. commitment to the defense relationship with Kuwait.
The U.S. and Kuwait, a major Non-NATO Ally, are key partners committed to stability and security in the Middle East region.
