WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Beth Teach provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with Chief of the Nepalese Army Gen. Prabhu Ram Sharma today at the Pentagon.
The two leaders discussed several issues of mutual concern, and Adm. Grady expressed appreciation for 75 years of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Nepal.
The U.S. and Nepal share a strong bilateral defense relationship, committed to stability and security in the region.
