WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:

Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA) Jake Sullivan and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke today by phone with their Ukrainian counterparts, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Valery Zaluzhny.

They discussed the unprovoked and ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine and international support for the Ukrainian armed forces. APNSA Sullivan and Gen. Milley reaffirmed the steadfast support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
