TALLINN, Estonia — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Chief of the Estonian Defence Forces Lt. Gen. Martin Herem today during the NATO Military Committee Conference in Tallinn, Estonia.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and NATO activities in the Baltic Sea region.
Estonia is an important Ally on NATO's eastern flank and a significant contributor to international efforts to assist Ukraine.
