WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Cmdr. Beth Teach provided the following readout:
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco Lt. Gen. Belkhir El Farouk today at the Pentagon.
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Christopher W. Grady met with the Romanian Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Daniel Petrescu today at the Pentagon.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the ongoing efforts of U.S. and NATO forces to deter Russian aggression, and the bilateral defense relationship.
Romania is an important NATO ally and cooperates closely with the U.S. in the Black Sea region and in Europe.
