WASHINGTON — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Australia Chief of the Defence Force Gen. Angus Campbell today at the Pentagon.
The two military leaders discussed a range of issues and including regional security and operations. The two leaders agreed to continue to strengthen multilateral cooperation and improve interoperability.
The U.S. - Australian alliance plays a critical role in maintaining peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
