BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley spoke with United Kingdom’s Chief of the Defence Staff Adm. Sir Tony Radakin today during the NATO Military Committee Conference in Brussels.
The military leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, the security environment in Eastern Europe and other items of mutual strategic interest.
The United Kingdom and the United States share a long history of mutual support and cooperation, which are cornerstones of the strong alliance and special relationship.
