ROME — Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Dave Butler provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with the Italian Chief of the Defence Staff Adm. Giuseppe Cavo Dragone today in Rome.
The two leaders discussed Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and other items of mutual strategic interest.
Italy is a key NATO ally, leader for global security and shares a long-standing and vital partnership with the United States.
