WASHINGTON, D.C., — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., spoke with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi yesterday by phone.
The two military leaders discussed the latest battlefield assessments during the unprovoked and ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. The leaders discussed the importance of continuing security assistance. The Chairman reaffirmed unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
