WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., spoke with Jordanian Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Alhnaity today by phone.
The chairmen discussed the current security environment in the Middle East, including efforts to deescalate current regional tensions in close cooperation with international allies and partners.
The United States and Jordan share strong military ties as key partners committed to Middle East peace, security and stability.
