WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., met with Commander of the Zambia Army Lieutenant General Dennis Sitali Alibuzwi in Gaborone, Botswana today.
The leaders discussed shared security interests, including efforts to enhance military-to-military relations and expand areas of cooperation.
The United States and Zambia share the goal of promoting peace and stability across the African continent.
